My cinematic production company Foath TV had the pleasure of working with Dennis Russell to create “The Five Stars” Music Video which we released the day before ANZAC Day.
This was a difficult project for me as Director and DOP, having not been to the location before the shoot… But nevertheless, Foath TV packed up 3 cars full of camera equipment and drove on up to a small place not far from Toowoomba called Emu Gully. There were trenches already dug out for occasional WWI reenactment, and we were allowed to shoot on them for the day.
With the help of multiple crew members including an Armourer (Matthew Wollaston) and makeup artist (Alicia Hennessy), multiple actors, stuntmen and incredibly realistic costume/uniforms – we produced what was one of the most rewarding videos of my career to date. Please check it out below!
